Before and After

When I first laid eyes on my quaint little rental cottage in Wanneroo, I had very mixed emotions.

Whilst I was disappointed by the disarray and grubbiness in and around the dwelling, I was also excited by the challenge presented before me.

With some hard work and dedication, I'm inspired to turn this shambles into a cheerful, comfortable home for myself.

I visualize the bigger picture and look upon gardening and home decorating as an artistic therapy, so I know I'm going to thoroughly enjoy creating my own little haven.

After some pruning, raking up, replacing the dead plant
in a pot with pretty bougainvillea and adding a few of my
pot plants, is looking much tidier.
A few colourful plant pots, fresh herbs and ornaments
add a little interest outside my bedroom window
My bedroom - cheerful and vibrant with a
relaxing outlook to the courtyard
My cosy lounge area with lots of cushions and throws
Decorative succulents add a touch of interest and colour -
these were a birthday gift from my daughter.
